with overall health maintenance in the workplace. The goal is to prevent employees'
exposure to any dangerous work situation or environment.

Based on the Japanese Industrial Safety and Health law, every company of 50 or more
employees must hire an occupational health physician. If a company has 3 000 or more
employees, two or more occupational physicians are required.
